Writers of the Future Vol. 33 (L. Ron Hubbard presents)

I once again had the pleasure to review an item from Galaxy Press and L. Ron Hubbard. The writers in this book are wonderful, and I enjoyed reading everyone one of them. They all captured my attention and once I started a story I didn't want to put it down. I can see why these authors were chosen, and if I had to pick just one I don't know how I would have. The illustrators are wonderful to and helps to set the story in my opinion. If you ever get the chance to read this wonderful collection of stories, I highly recommend it.

Gypsy Prophecy: A Paranormal Romance Novel by Itay Itzhaky

I recently read and reviewed the eBook,Gypsy Prophecy: A Paranormal Romance Novel by Itay Itzhaky. This story had me hooked from the very beginning. We are introduced to Danielle, who knows she was adopted and is trying to find what is creating the void in her life. She meets a handsome man named Shay, and they immediately have a wonderful connection. It was a really well written book as the journey to answer all the questions she has is revealed. It is a delightful read and I can't read more by this author. This is not my typical setting of a book but it was very interesting, and I would definitely recommend it. Once the adventure began, it was really hard to put it down. It was a good read.

Here is what Amazon has to say about the book, "What would you do if your whole life was one big secret? Danielle will stop at nothing to discover the truth. Danielle, a young woman in her 20’s, was adopted as a baby by horticulturists and raised on a flower farm on a moshav in Israel. The terms of this adoption were that she must never seek out her birthplace or her biological parents. She couldn’t help the feeling that something was missing. Danielle had this unexplainable, haunting, recurring dream of falling into the abyss. Yearning for answers to questions like why she was abandoned by her birth parents at the orphanage in Jaffa so many years ago, she longed to discover the truth. With the support of her boyfriend, Shay, she began her journey, hoping to put her mind to rest. In their quest for the truth they come across unique and colorful characters. Nelly, a gypsy medium who Shay often consults, helps uncover Danielle’s roots, giving her the first glimpse of clarity. They follow the clues to Southern France, where a gypsy prophecy unfolds. Now it is up to Shay and Danielle to fulfill their destiny to restore the balance between good and evil amongst the gypsy community. Passion, romance and fast paced adventure make this book impossible to put down. An exceptional journey, filled with exciting suspense that will most definitely captivate you and leave you wanting more."

Take Me To The Start: Sophina's Diary by J.R. Kavit

When I first started reading this book, I didn't know what to expect. I was thinking another romance story, between two broken, and flawed people. The story right from the beginning had my attention and I just couldn't put it down. I finished the book in one evening.

The author for her first book was excellent in telling Sophia/Latina, and Benjamin's story. You could relate to the characters so easily, and you wanted to know what was going to happen to them next. She did a great job with the on the edge of the seat type of story telling. I know I can't wait to read the next in the series.

I don't like to go into too much detail and give away anything. I don't like "Spoilers", but I will include that they posted on Amazon. " If you could change one moment in your life what would it be? Based on Coldplay's epic song "The Scientist", 'Take me to the start' is a riveting novel that tells the story of Sophia and Benjamin. When Sophia loses her job on one of the worst days of her life, she meets Benjamin King, an enigmatic British Scientist that makes her wishes come true and then disappears. When a big secret comes to light, Sophia and Benjamin’s relationship takes a surprising turn. A mysterious, sexy and deeply moving novel about loss, pain and the courage to confront one’s past through love. Frustrated with the disappearance of the socially alienated thirty year old Scientist that changed her life, Sophia who defines herself as asexual and damaged, goes on a mission to find him and when she does, they discover that if they want to be a part of each other’s worlds, they’ll have to deal with their dark pasts. The past they worked so hard to hide. To make it work they will have to overcome their fears… or go back to the start. A fresh and engaging novel you will not be able to put down. Take Me To The Start is a romance novel about how the past echoes in the present. It's about our battle with the greatest question of all: what if we could go back and do it differently? It's a gripping and provoking read. Take Me To The Start is the first installment in the Take Me To The Start trilogy."
