Sand Truck Toy Review

I purchased Babrit Story Sand Beach Construction Trucks for my nephews for Christmas.

It is a nice little construction truck for smaller kids.  This truck has a shovel, and the shovel arm raises and lowers.  There is an excavator and dump truck. The wheels roll very easily and the excavator shovel and arm move pretty freely.  The colors are bright and very colorful.  This vehicle does not require batteries, so that will be a plus for parents. 

I do have one concern with the product and that is that is kinda small and won't hold much sand, but it is great as a toy truck to push around and play with.

I think that this will be good for both indoors and outdoors in the sand box.  I can't wait to see their faces and watching them play with them.

Second Sight by Toryn Chapman

I finished reading the eBook, Second Sight, by Toryn Chapman.  Toryn has written an awesome book in the Second Sight.

The book is about Campbell Mackenzie who is is a young lawyer with a perfect winning record and a reputation for always knowing what to say next, until a tragic accident turns his life upside down.  He loses his wife and young infant son. 

Reluctant to believe he can see the future, nevertheless he has the feeling he needs to go to Hong Kong to save the life of a woman he has seen get killed in his dreams. The woman, Kaiko, has some secrets of her own.  She is the wife of Jiro Takenaka, who is the leader of the Yakuza, the Japanese mafia, who she is trying to hide from.

The couple bounce back and forth between Hong Kong to Australia, to Tokyo and back to Australia.  I love how Toryn intermingles the past with the future so you can get an idea of how we come to where we are now.  I really liked this book.

K-Cup Pod Drawer

I was happy to get the Amazon Basics Coffee Pod Storage Drawer for K-Cup Pods - 36 Pod Capacity.
The drawers hold up to 36 K-cup pods and is a very sleek design. It has 3 drawers so if you want you can have a drawer for each flavor or like me, I have a drawer for hot cocoa, tea, and coffee. It is a durable design that won't bend under the weight of the machine if you want to place it on top. I don't have enough room to place my under my machine but I have it in my pantry with other stuff on top of it and it is not bending. It has soft, anti-slip pad on bottom that protects tabletop surfaces, and has mirror-finish drawer handle for a sleek and modern style. The measurements of the drawer is 13.5x12.9x2.5 inches (LxWxH).

I will definitely be purchasing another one of these drawers to store all my pods since I like to have a variety of choices on hand.

Fairy Garden Decorations.

I was excited to get the Fairy Garden Dollhouse Decor Miniature Ornaments Kit Set with 1 Pcs Tweezer which is a 60 piece set.  The reason I was excited was that my friend has a fairy garden and I was looking for a Christmas present for her. 

The detail are good and the pieces fill like they are made of quality material.  It is also cool because it comes with a pair of tweezers to place the small pieces.   It is made of a resin material, that is durable and waterproof to decorate your garden with. 

There was only one thing I was concerned with and that was it came in a bubble envelope and thankfully the bridge is still in one piece, but other than that I am happy with the items.

RAAYA GARDEN HOSE NOZZLE sprayer Swivel wand

I was happy to get the RAAYA GARDEN HOSE NOZZLE sprayer Swivel wand with a heavy duty 9 adjustable pattern and pistol grip.  We have two hoses and now I can have a nozzle head on both of them instead of switching back and forth.

I love that the nozzle head swivels both ways 180 degrees.  The sprayer is made of what seems to be very durable materials, and so far no leaks.  It also comes with  free water bottle adapter. The company says, " We want the gardens of our customers to thrive, both indoors and outdoors. That's why on top of the spray nozzle, we also include a free water bottle adapter to care for your indoor plants."  I haven't tried this option as I do not have indoor plants due to having indoor cats. I think it is a cool idea though.

Pleated Blind Review

I was so excited to get the Luxr Blinds Pleated Fabric Shades with Easy Pull Chord Operation: Quick Fix Installation Light Filtering Blinds- White, 1 Pack, 36"x72".  I had a window in my dining room that I haven't had a chance to get a wooden blind for yet, but when I seen this, I was like I will try it.

The blind seems to be made pretty well, and it was so easy to install.  All I had to do was peel the paper and stick into the window sill.  It has stuck well and I have raised and lowered them several times and it still hasn't pulled off the sill. It is constructed with a smooth pull-string operation that easily raises and lowers the shade. Just pinch the spring lock to unlock cord and to adjust the shades to desired height. This will make the shade have a longer endurance, compared to other pleated shades that are adjusted by clips.  It also comes with an optional cord cleat that is included. Just install the cord cleat with screws to the side of the blind, at a height out of reach of children & wrap cord around cleat when not in use.

I also like that it is made with transparent, non woven polyester material that will softly filter light for privacy in your home, while allowing you to enjoy the natural light during the day. Best window treatment solution to protect against UV light, excessive sun glare and exterior heat penetration.

I like this blind so much that I am thinking of purchasing another one for my back door.

The After House By Michael Phillip Cash

I recently finished reading the book, The After House, by Michael Phillip Cash. This is a book of love, loss of love, and situations that make you realize what you are actually capable of.

I loved how Michael wrote each character. Remy Galway and her daughter Olivia are rebuilding their life after a failed marriage in a 300 year old cottage in historic Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. Little do they know, another occupant is lurking in the haven of their own home. Remy is having trouble dealing with her recent divorce, and moves into the cottage and strange things begin happening.  Olivia thinks it is the spirit of Captain Eli Gaspar that is causing all the trouble, but they finally catch Remy's ex-husband causing all the problems.

Remy meets the town's mayor and museum director, Hugh, and they instantly fall in love.  Hugh and Remy with the help of Georgia, who speaks to ghosts, help Captain Eli Gaspar to reconnect with his family and to cross over. 

The story goes back and forth between the 1840's and 2014, telling the story of both Gaspar and Galway.  It really gives a lot of information to understanding what is going on in the story.

Multi-Charger Review

I purchased the Multi USB Cable,JASTEK Premium Quality 4 in 1 Multiple USB Charging Cable with LED Lighting as I have several items that use different chargers. 

I like that I can charge my phone and tablet at the same time, and that there are 4 different charger ends.  My phone takes the USB-C and my tablet uses the micro USB.  This can be plugged into a USB wall port or I even plugged it into my computer

Don't be scared by the fact that it is shipped in a small plastic envelope, it is a good product. The main portion of the cable has LED lights that change colors so that is pretty interesting.

The item seems to be constructed well and I have used it a lot and have not had any issues yet. I would definitely recommend the charger if you have several different chargers that you use. There is one thing that it does say and that is that multi-charger cables only for charging, and not for data syncing.  Here is a list of the connectors for those wondering: 8 Pin / 2x Micro USB / Mini USB / USB2.0 Ports (Non-MFI).

Mushroom Bird Feeder

 I am such a bird lover and I love to feed them. This bird feeder is metal mesh and metal and is built well. It looks like a mushroom.  I have placed it in the back yard and can't wait to see the birds going to it.
  
 I took several pictures to show how the feeder looks with and without the feed.  I think it is a great item and I am so excited with it.

There is one downside that I noticed and that is that the mesh can dent easily, but it just adds to the character to the feeder.

Pokergeist Review

I recently finished reading the book, Pokergeist by Michael Phillip Cash. This is a book of love, friendship, and situations that make you realize what you are actually capable of handling.

I loved how Michael wrote each character. The story follows Clutch Henderson who is a poker player who dies and haunts another player to earn the prize he has always wanted but never got. 

The guy he is haunting makes it to the finals at the tournament and to find out the other guy is also being haunted by Clutch's grandfather who has been helping the guy to beat Clutch to keep him from winning.

Once I began reading the book the first day I didn't want to put it down, and it was a really good read.

3D Horse Backpack

I purchased the HUGSIDEA Cool Crazy Horse Backpack Animal Face Printed School Book Bag for my niece for Christmas.
The backpack has a very nice photo of a horse on the front, and seems to be made of very durable materials. The straps are very comfortable, and has mesh padding on it. The zippers seem to be of good quality. I think that she will like really like it and get great use out of it.

Enjoying the quietness in the middle of the city.

Sitting outside with hubby and Peyton. Peyton has figured out how to get up on top of the picnic table. Phone says it's 85* but there is an awesome breeze blowing and it is so quiet and peaceful.

I read the Children eBook - ABIGAIL and the Sahara Adventure, as I am always looking for books for my niece and nephews.

The book is about a little girl named Abigail, and she is visiting her grandparents. After breakfast, she goes to the attic, and takes out the magical book from her bike basket. She wished to go on an adventure and rides her bike to the Sahara desert, and meets Jasmine. Jasmine shows Abigail what life is like in the Sahara, and how her tribe is running out of water. Abigail tells them that she seen a large pool of water and Jasmine and her tribe move to the water hole.

The illustrations are very well done, and the story is well written.

8mm Silvering Celtic Dragon Tungsten Wedding Ring

I purchased this 8mm Silvering Celtic Dragon Tungsten Wedding Ring for my husband. As he was wanting a new and heavier metal since he works a lot with tools. The ring arrived with the jewelry box with it. My first response was, "OMG this is gorgeous!" The pictures do not do it justice. The ring is beautifully made, and the material is very sturdy. The only problem is that it is actually a half size too big. But that was our fault. The engraving is very well done. I also love the blue background color. It is hard to see in the photo but it is very pretty. I would definitely purchase another one for him to have a spare as I just love the look of it. Emily gives you information on how to stay motivated, some benefits of working from home, negotiating a fair salary, how to handle the job interview, how to create a cover letter and a resume, and how to detect scams.
