I recently finished listening to the well known book, Battlefield Earth, by L.Ron Hubbard. I received the paperback book, and the audio version of the book. I listened to the audio book, and it was amazing. There are over 65 actors that are accompanied by a full cinematic soundtrack. The paperback has expanded content, author's notes, author interview, and lyrics.
The audio book just draws you into the story with all the sound affects and different actors doing all the different voices of the characters. I am sure if I was just reading the book, I would have enjoyed it but the audio takes it to a whole different level of enjoyment.

I would definitely recommend this book. It is a really good book. I have not seen the movie so I wasn't familiar with the story.
