Fat Free For Life eBook Review


     I recently finished reading the book, Fat Free for Life, by Braxton Cosby. This isn't a book that usually read but it was interesting and gave some interesting facts.

     The author does uses Bible verses and talks about his faith in it also.

     I would like to share some points with you that I thought was interesting: 1. Begin with baby steps by starting with substituting one food item at a time. 2. Focus on behavior change not weight loss. You will reach your goals by changing behavior, not by losing pounds. 3. Learn from your mistakes. 4. Find someone to follow. 5. Get lots of reinforcement. 6. Concentrate on changing pattern not your diet regime. 7. Reward yourself with verbal or actual pats on the back.

     He also tells us that eating less, and moving more, allows your body time it needs to adjust to the new life changes. He also gives us some easy swaps for example; instead of scoops of ice cream try a low calorie frozen yogurt. Also instead of cinnamon rolls, try angel cake.

     There are other points to but I don't want to tell you everything.
