When I first twisted the base to get it to come out into the brush, I noticed it had a thick tar-like look to it, however despite that look, it did take 3 applications to get it to not look streaked.

I was a little disappointed that it was just sent without any instructions besides what is on the website.
They do offer it in 24 different colors, the color I chose was black.
