Blood Tide, Aquarius Rising Book 2

I finished reading the eBook, Blood Tide, Aquarius Rising Book 2, by Brian Burt.  

The book was easy to read, and well written.  I'm sure it is enjoyable to those who like this type of category of books. 

The author makes you feel the anguish of the characters involved and their lives. It is a good book and well written but just not for me.

Beach Tent

I purchased this Beach Tent to use in my back yard.

Since I am still on chemo treatment, I have to watch my exposure to the sun.

The product comes in its own zip up bag, and is made of a durable material. The tent is pretty spacious inside and with a pillow and a blanket, very comfortable.

There is only one thing that is a negative to me, and that it is very difficult to get folded back up. once it is folded, it is very simple to place back in bag and get zipped up.

12 piece acrylic paint set

I purchased this set of 12 acrylic paints to start getting back into painting.

The paints seem to be of good quality, and the colors are very pretty.  They are the right consistency and I can't wait to start painting again.

If you were me and lived in... Colonial America

I read the children's book, If you were me and lived in... Colonial America, by Carole P. Roman, and illustrated by Sarah Wright. 

This book is well written and very educational about life during the Colonial years. I think there author did a wonderful job at describing what it was like. The illustrations were awesome. They were very colorful and vibrant, and really helped to tell there story.

I would recommend those book for those with kids.

Hidden Fire: The Watchers Book 2

I finished reading the eBook, Hidden Fire: The Watchers Book 2, by Deirdra Eden.  The book is a mixture of adventure, growing up, finding yourself, love, and loss.

The book follows Auriella, Lady of Neviah, and her journey to defeating the Shadow Lord, Erebus.

During her journey she is attacked by Shadow Wolves, and rescued by Baby, a white tiger, and his companion, Azrael, another watcher. She also meets Orion, and Korban, who are also watchers, and Immortals. She also catches up with Ruburt, the dwarf, and meets his wife, Pearl, and his daughter, Kassi. Kassi is named after the pixie, Cassi, which we learn took off after Ruburt married Pearl.

The author makes you fall in love with Auriella, and her friends. I enjoyed the relationship between Azrael and his animal companion, Baby. There were comical times, and some intense times. I like how the author pulled at all your emotions.

Knight of Light: The Watchers Book 1

I finished reading the eBook, Knight of Light: The Watchers Book 1, by Deirdra Eden.  The book is a mixture of adventure, growing up, finding yourself, love, and loss.

The book follows the orphan girl named Auriella and her journey to becoming the Lady of Neviah.

During her journey she is captured by a witch, Gazelle, meets a pixie named Cassi, is helped to freedom by a dwarf named Ruburt, and shown who she really is by a dragon called Woldor the Wise.

The author makes you fall in love with Auriella, and her friends. I enjoyed the banter between the pixie, Cassi, and the dwarf, Ruburt. There were comical times, and some intense times. I like how the author pulled at all your emotions.

Putter and the Red Car

I recently finished reading the  ebook, Putter and the Red Car by Kate K. Lund. This is a children's book about moving.

The story follows Putter, and Airedale dog, his family, their red car, and the road trip across country.

I purchased this to read with my niece and nephews who are 8, 4, and 2.  I thought it would make them understand and look forward to visiting me since we recently moved.

I would recommend the book for young children. The illustrations are very cute and colorful.

Beach Sign

I purchased this beach sign to place in our guest bedroom that I'm doing with a beach theme.

 

It seems to be made of really nice material, and it looks really good. I don't think it is made of wood, but of a pressed wood material, so I don't think I would hang it outside as I am not sure if it could get wet.  I can't wait to finish painting so I can get this hung on the wall.

I would recommend this product for all of those who are doing a beached theme area.

Snow Blood Season 1

I recently finished reading the  ebook, Snow Blood Season 1, by Carol McKibben. This is a book of revenge, and love.

The story follows the first ever vampire, Brogio, and his making of a husky dog vampire. It also follows the revenge that the god, Apollo, wants against Brogio.

I enjoyed reading the this book, and how the author wrote the story from Snow Blood's point of view. Snow Blood is the dog that Brogio turned into a vampire.

I would recommend the book.  It is a good read.

Bamboo Bathroom Accessories

I purchased this Bamboo Bathroom set for our new bathroom.

It seems to be made of really nice bamboo and it is a beautiful color. I love that it has so many pieces with it.   It has a trash can, toilet brush with holder,  tissue box, cotton ball container, soap dispenser, storage cup, toothbrush holder, and a soap dish.

I would recommend this product for all of those who love the look of bamboo.

I recently finished reading the book, Monsterland, by Michael Phillip Cash. This is a book of adventure and the disaster of having vampires, werewolves, and zombies under one roof.

The story follows the antics of one, Dr. Vincent Carter, and his wanting to control the world. I enjoyed reading the this book, and how the author wrote the characters and the surprise of how some of them are connected. I could almost see this being made into a film. I would recommend the book. It is a good read.

CSMARTE Smart Wireless Doorbell Kit

I purchased this door bell for our new home since our other one had quit working.

It was really simple to install. the base just plugs into a wall socket and the door bell button portion just screwed into the existing holes.

I think it is a good buy for the price and would highly recommend this product if you don't want to rewire an existing one or are not that great at diy projects.

Dawn of Procyon

I recently finished reading the ebook, Dawn of Procyon, by Mark R Healy. This is a book of adventure and a life on an outpost while a war is raging on Earth with the Argoni race.

The story follows Landry Staton, and his adventures of being stranded in the wild without anyone knowing where he is.

I had a hard time at first getting into the story. I think it was because I was sick and just didn't feel like reading to much. I do not blame the author for this. As I did start enjoying it more at the end as I started feeling better. 

I would recommend the book.  It is a good read.
