I read the children's book, If you were me and lived in... Colonial America, by Carole P. Roman, and illustrated by Sarah Wright.
This book is well written and very educational about life during the Colonial years. I think there author did a wonderful job at describing what it was like. The illustrations were awesome. They were very colorful and vibrant, and really helped to tell there story.
I would recommend those book for those with kids.
