I loved how the author wrote each character. The story follows sixteen-year-old genie Brielle, who finally gets her first assignment in Tri-Cities, Washington. At first Brielle has a bit of an attitude, but she does wait 4 years to get her first assignment. She finds out that genies are dying and is desperate for her assignment to make her wish so she can get her magic and find out who is killing the genies.
I love how Michelle wrote these characters, and the story line as it really draws you into the story. Once I began reading the book the first day I didn't want to put it down, and it was a really good read.
